The McNairy County Court System is in the 25^th Judicial District, which includes Hardeman, Fayette, Lauderdale, and Tipton Counties in West Tennessee. The Circuit Court of McNairy County files all felony convictions and civil matters above $25,000.00. The Circuit Court is in session during the months of June, October, and February with each term running 5 weeks. J. Weber McCraw and Joseph Walker are judges and Mike Dunavant Attorney General for the 25^th district.

McNairy County General Sessions files small claim cases under $25,000.00, misdemeanors, domestic matters, divorces and criminal charges. Juvenile court addresses matters involving unruly behavior, truancy, and child custody. Judge for General Sessions and Juvenile Court is Van McMahan and Secretary to the Judge, Heather Robinson. Youth Service Officer of the county is Cindy Marlow with Intensive Probation Officer, Pam West and Secretary to the Juvenile Court, Jean Smith.
